Who we are
Sahara Tours from Marrakech is an independent planning guide to desert trips from Marrakech, from Agafay day trips to multi-day tours to the Sahara dunes at Merzouga, Zagora and Erg Chegaga. It is not an official tourism website, and it is not run by a tour operator, an attraction, or a booking platform.
What we publish
We write practical guides to the main sights, getting there, timing and tickets, and we compare specific tours you can book. Each comparison explains who a tour suits, so you can judge whether it fits your own trip.
How we research and compare tours
We compare individual listings on Viator, not generic search pages. For each one we record the information the listing publishes: rating and review count, duration, transport, and what is included. Practical details such as tickets, opening arrangements and transport are checked against official sources, which we link from the guides.
Every comparison shows the date its details were last checked. Ratings, prices and availability change, so the live booking page is always the final word before you pay.
Unless a guide says otherwise, our comparisons are based on research into published listings and official sources, not on taking every tour ourselves.
